Project overview: The mine is located at the border between Uíge Province and Zaire Province in northern Angola, approximately 550 km by road from the capital, Luanda. This copper mine is the largest copper deposit discovered in Angola to date. Underground mining is employed. Phase I commenced trial production in 2025, with an expected annual copper production of approximately 30,000 tonnes (copper metal in concentrate) upon reaching full capacity. Phase II is currently in the design phase.
