Project Profile
JCHX Durban Warehouse is located at the BKB Complex in Durban, South Africa’s largest port city. It serves as the company’s core port-centric logistics and bonded warehousing facility, utilizing third-party services at the Port of Durban. Situated near the port, the largest container port in Southern Africa, it has strong capabilities for import cargo receiving, bonded storage, and regional transshipment. As part of the company’s overall 5,500 square meter warehousing system, it features an approximately 800 square meter bonded area compliant with SOS and OS regulatory requirements, meeting the storage and handling needs of imported, transshipment, and cross-border project cargo under customs supervision. The warehouse primarily serves functions including port reception of imported equipment and mining supplies, container handling, bonded storage, cross-border cargo consolidation, transshipment forwarding, and handling out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo. Leveraging the advantages of the Port of Durban, this warehouse effectively reduces redundant transshipment and inland haulage costs for imported goods, improves overall logistics efficiency in the Southern African region, and provides a stable supply chain for regional mining and engineering projects.
