Project overview: The 2.5 million t/a mining EPC project of the Motianchong Phosphate Mine is located in Hualuo Village, Sanjia Street, Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. The mine has proven reserves of 105 million tonnes. JCHX Mine Engineering Design Institute Co Ltd is fully responsible for the engineering, procurement, and management, while JCHX South Branch undertakes the construction. This project is a landmark example of JCHX’s efficient “mining service + design” synergy. Located in a typical karst region, the project faces complex karst development, posing significant construction challenges. Driven by technological innovation, the project team effectively overcame multiple challenges posed by the complex geological conditions and achieved production at 2.5 million tonnes per year in 2025, setting a “Motianchong Speed” record for the construction of large-scale underground phosphate mines in Guizhou Province. The project is currently in the final acceptance phase.
